Samsung India May hire more WorkForces across Verticals

Samsung India May hire more WorkForces across Verticals

In the past year, the South Korean giant had hired around 2,000 new talents for Samsung India. To continue its realignment on resources the company is planning to open more opportunities for those who are talented as per the business priority. Although the company did say that the recent reports on hiring 1,000 recruits were “misleading”, and said in a statement that “We contribute to job creation, we continuously realign resources as per business priorities to make our business more robust and efficient for long-term success.”

Samsung knows the fact that Xiaomi and OnePlus the Chinese companies are taking away its share in the Indian smartphone market. The net profit of the company in 2018 had fallen to 10.7 percent that is around Rs 3,712 crore. But then again, the total income had grown to Rs 61,065 crore. It is because of the TV market along with accessories that are provided by the company that the firm could compensate for its loss in the smartphone market. However, the firm did say it is strengthening its business in the smartphone market and is currently expanding. This might be true because it is providing good features in its phone and also developing better phones that will be released soon. Maybe in the future with the 5G buzz booming around, it might take a step to increase its employee count by developing more offices and more verticals to work on.
